At the same time, North American workplaces are becoming increasingly intercultural and diverse because of immigration, in-country migration and an expanded understanding of DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) issues. New value is being placed on employees’ ability to engage effectively with diverse social and cultural perspectives, and to challenge systems of inequality, ensuring all voices are represented.
