Generation Study Abroad (GSA) is an important five-year campaign recently undertaken by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The project is dedicated to doubling the number of students who study abroad by the year 2020. And now, we’re delighted to announce that MyWorldAbroad has become one of GSA’s official Commitment Partners!

For over twenty years, MyWorldAbroad has been dedicated to spreading the word about the importance of going abroad and building global career skills. After all, in the new global economy, international experience is a crucial component of career success. So, we’re very excited to play a role in the GSA project, and you can keep your eye on our social media feeds and blog for related updates. Now, let’s take a look at exactly what MyWorldAbroad is offering as part of this campaign:

What’s the MyWorldAbroad pledge?

In celebration of GSA, MyWorldAbroad is making some of our most popular, insightful and inspirational material instantly and freely accessible to students and educational institutions worldwide.

As part of our pledge, we’ve developed a one-stop collection of Quick Guides, Stories from Abroad and International Quizzes designed to motivate, inform and inspire. These materials provide students with a high-level framework for developing international goals, and get students involved in self-assessment activities.

These products are geared towards helping all students build crucial global competencies and maximize the career value of every experience abroad. The format has been designed to make online sharing simple, so feel free to pass these links along. We’re relying on you to help spread the word as far as possible.

Schools can link to the student landing page, and find additional instructions geared towards staff and administrators on the school landing page. In tandem with our GSA campaign, we’ve developed additional special MyWorldAbroad initiatives for our client schools, who will be hearing from us shortly about some exciting projects and updates.

We wish you the best in your quest to share the benefit international experience!
