These days, there's an app for just about everything! And there are some fantastic apps to help you access useful information while abroad. It's worth conducting a search for international travel and study abroad apps before heading overseas (if you're going to a country with widespread Internet access, that is). A simple search will bring up currency converter apps, weather map apps, friend finders, hotel/hostel finders and so much more. Internships and extended volunteer positions have almost become a necessary step between education and paid entry-level positions, and recent grads face fierce competition when trying to land an internship with a firm or organization. In order to support themselves for the duration of one or more internships, they must either get support from family members, or go further into debt.
