Landing a Job: The Road to Teaching Abroad

[ID:0549] Like every good job search, the hunt for an overseas teaching position should begin with a period of research. Finding the right school depends on more than just selecting your ideal vacation destination; you should be reading up on specific schools, curricula and contracts; and, if possible, you should be networking with other international educators. Before you begin your in-depth research, be clear about the exact kind of job you want and what region of the world you are interested in working in. Narrow your research to two or three countries. Your choices should be based on where you are most likely to get a job.
