[ID:7069]As the nation's largest employer (with over 300,000 employees), the federal government (Government of Canada) has many opportunities for young people interested in making a contribution to Canada's international activities. The major and most well-known international players in the government system are: the Global Affairs Canada, the Global Affairs Canada - Development (Formerly CIDA) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CF), each of which will be examined in some depth in this section.
