I write to you from Washington, DC, where I'm excited to be participating in the first ever IIE Summit on Generation Study Abroad (GSA)! We got a chance to do some sightseeing around town (see photo) before getting up early and heading to the conference, where our MyWorldAbroad exhibitor booth has been busy all day.
We'll be back again tomorrow, and I'll also be participating in a panel discussion on Articulating the Career Relevance of Study Abroad at 1:45pm along with Stacie Berdan (chair), Inge Steglitz, Linda Gross and Jeff Le.
Stop by if you're participating in the conference - I'd love to see you there!
Generation Study Abroad is an important five-year campaign recently undertaken by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The project is dedicated to doubling the number of students who study abroad by the year 2020. MyWorldAbroad is a proud commitment partner of the GSA campaign. As part of our pledge, we are sharing free essential training materials full of expert go abroad advice.
